GENERAL REQUIREMENTS FOR ARTICLES

Manuscripts must be submitted in electronic format .doc or .docx.
The journal “International Journal of Montology Studies” publishes original research articles containing the results of scientific studies, conceptual and theoretical analyses, review articles, scientific communications, and other materials relevant to the scope of the journal.
Only original articles that have not been previously published in other scientific journals are accepted for publication.
The journal publishes articles in Russian and English.
A scientific article should include:
- statement of the research problem, its relevance, and scientific novelty;
- analysis of the research problem;
- authors’ proposals for addressing the identified scientific objectives;
- conclusions and practical significance of the obtained results.
All manuscripts undergo mandatory plagiarism and similarity checks. The required level of originality must comply with the journal’s established requirements.
Authors must provide signed documents confirming compliance with publication ethics principles and copyright requirements (if required).
By submitting an article to the journal “International Journal of Montology Studies”, authors confirm their agreement with the journal’s publication ethics requirements and grant the Editorial Office the right to review and publish the submitted material.
Authors of published articles are responsible for the accuracy of the facts, citations, names, data, and other information presented in their manuscripts.
Submitted materials must be prepared according to the journal’s requirements. After receiving comments and recommendations from reviewers and editors, authors must make the necessary revisions and resubmit the manuscript to the Editorial Office.
If an article does not comply with the established requirements, the Editorial Board reserves the right to reject the manuscript without further consideration.
The review and publication timeframe is determined by the Editorial Office of the journal.
A rejected manuscript may not be resubmitted unless substantial revisions have been made.
Authors must indicate the source of research funding (if applicable).
Publication of articles is free of charge. Authors do not pay any editorial or publication fees.
Technical Requirements
The article should be structured as follows:
- UDC index;
- title of the article in Russian and English;
- information about the author(s) in Russian and English:
- full name;
- academic degree and title;
- institutional affiliation and position;
- email address;
- contact information;
- abstract (100-150 words) in Russian and English, including:
- relevance of the research;
- statement of the problem;
- research objective;
- research methods;
- main results and conclusions;
- keywords (4-6 words) in Russian and English;
- reference list.
The manuscript must be submitted electronically and formatted as follows:
- font: Times New Roman;
- font size: 12 pt;
- line spacing: 1.15;
- paragraph indentation: 0.5 cm;
- page margins: 2 cm on the left, right, top, and bottom.
In-text citations should be formatted as follows: [5, p. 67], where the number refers to the source in the reference list and the page number indicates the cited page. If page numbers are not provided, the citation should be formatted as follows: [5].
The total length of the manuscript (excluding the title, author information, abstract, keywords, and reference list) should be at least 3,000 words and not exceed 9,000 words.
All accepted articles undergo double-blind peer review and plagiarism checking. Articles that do not meet the journal’s requirements will not be recommended for publication.
The reference list should be provided at the end of the article in the order of citation. The reference list must contain at least 7 sources.
The Editorial Office reserves the right to make reductions and editorial revisions to submitted materials.
Authors must submit to the Editorial Office:
- a scientific article prepared according to the journal’s requirements;
- necessary accompanying documents (if applicable).
Manuscripts that have been previously published in other scientific journals are not accepted.
