Journal Policies

The editorial policy of the International Journal of Montology Studies is based on the principles of academic integrity, transparency, fairness, scientific quality, and ethical publishing in accordance with internationally recognized standards.

General Principles

By submitting a manuscript to the journal, the author confirms that:

• the manuscript is original, has not been published previously, and is not under consideration by another journal;
• all listed authors have approved the submitted version of the manuscript;
• the submission complies with accepted standards of research and publication ethics;
• the author agrees to the publication of the article in the journal and to its distribution through the journal’s website and other academic indexing and archiving services, where applicable.

All published articles are made available through the journal's official platform in accordance with the journal's open-access policy.

The authors bear full responsibility for the accuracy of the data, analyses, opinions, and conclusions presented in their manuscripts.

The views expressed in published articles are those of the authors and do not necessarily reflect the opinions of the Editorial Board or the Publisher.

Editorial Decision

All submitted manuscripts undergo an initial editorial screening followed by an independent peer-review process.

The Editorial Board evaluates manuscripts based on:

• relevance to the journal’s scope;
• originality and scientific novelty;
• methodological rigor;
• validity and reliability of the results;
• practical and theoretical significance;
• compliance with ethical and publication standards.

The final decision regarding acceptance, revision, or rejection of a manuscript is made by the Editor-in-Chief based on reviewers' recommendations and the editorial assessment.

The Editorial Office reserves the right to reject manuscripts that:

• fall outside the journal’s scope;
• fail to meet scientific or ethical standards;
• are improperly prepared according to the journal’s submission guidelines;
• contain plagiarism or violate copyright laws;
• receive unfavorable peer-review evaluations.

The Editorial Board is not obliged to provide detailed correspondence regarding rejected manuscripts.

The editors reserve the right to make editorial and linguistic revisions that improve the clarity, consistency, and formatting of accepted manuscripts without altering their scientific content.

Submitted manuscripts are not returned to the authors.

No publication honoraria are paid to authors.
